The line height may have to be tweaked slightly here:

About to push a fix…different system fonts will have different line heights, which typically isn’t very noticeable but for situations like this where we’re using text overflow it is seen more easily since the whole text element needs to be overflow: hidden to get that effect working. Once this next patch goes out it should look cleaner for you. Thanks, @JvP!
