When I created my site, I used the layout builder for every page and did not use the content builder at all. Will I experience any issues with that going forward? I specifically want to know if this will cause any issues with the pages being indexed in the search engines. Do I need to move all of the content into the content builder?

There will not be any issue with Layout Builder in the future. Still, I would suggest you use the Layout Builder while using the same structure for different pages or posts. And use the Content Builder in case of a single page or post. If you still want to move the content from Layout Builder to Content Builder, please save the content as a template and load it into the specific page.

I have been using the Wordpress editor to add posts and porfolios. Any issue with continuing to do that?

Using the WordPress editor to create posts and portfolio items has no issues at all. If you do not like the default single post/portfolio item layout, that is where the Layout builder comes in which will allow you to create your own custom single post or single portfolio item layout.
