Layout builder for posts with media

Hi,

I’m trying to build a custom layout that I can then apply to my posts. Using dynamic elements for the featured image and the content (excerpt with no limit) is working fine. However most posts (built in the WordPress Gutenberg block builder) use the YouTube, or SoundCloud block and I can’t make these show up in the layout.

I figured it might be in the Post>Meta list, but I haven’t made that work so far.

Can the layout builder show Youtube embeds, and similar?

The SoundCloud and Youtube block using Gutenberg is not available in the Layout Builder. I suggest that you create a custom field (ACF) in your Posts type and call that field in your Layout Builder. In that way, you can create a custom Layout and custom content. For more information please check the documentation below.
