LayerSlider plugin does not update - issue remains

LayerSlider plugin update

The plugin LayerSlider says that an update is required. When I go to the Bulk Extension Manager, the version it updates to is Version 6.9.2 - lower than Version 6.11.2 , which is what we currently have installed. The update says Version 6.11.8 is available. Please advise.

Has the referenced fix been added? I am still unable to update to the latest version - it says complete, but then when the page is refreshed, the update is not in place. Please advise.

I was able to update ACF Pro and Revolution Slider without issue. Layerslider is the only one of the three that did not successfully update.
