Issues With Design Cloud

So I can confirm a fresh install of an empty WordPress with Pro works.

However it seems like most of my sites that have gone through the beta’s don’t work. I have several all with the same iss

I have tested this with three different sites all in various stages of development. All with the same issue and same error in the console

Unable to locate i18n string common.title.not-found Object { } cs.13a2f57.js:4507:25
unreachable code after return statement cs-vendor.32653a3.js:1794

I did manually update these sites with FTP. If it have been just one I would have tried manually updating them again but it is happening on three separate sites.

The fresh working site I installed through the theme upload.

So I have loaded details for three sites all on the same server.

One is working but is essentially a fresh install.

The Ancillary site is a super simple site. I can confirm the site was initially on my local development Ubuntu Server before I moved it. The local version is on http and I can confirm it is working. (I upgraded it all now just to test. It is essentially the same site as per the test site with the details I gave). The test site the design cloud is not working (the one in the details).

The Apex site has a lot of plugins but has the same issue as the Ancillary site. It was also moved.

I have a third site, also on the same server where the development version is working but the test version is not but I think three logins should be enough.

I have tried various search and replace tools including the premium updraft tool but have had no success.

I have made back ups of the two sites so do what you need to.

I have also tried deactivating all plugins which did not help.

Thanks for sharing all this info and the login info. I see that the 3rd site is working. The first two seem to be using the latest Pro, but they are serving javascript files from the previous version.

Would you happen to have updated with FTP and replacing files? It looks like some of the older scripts are still there and didn’t get cleaned up. I would advise fully deleting Pro and reinstalling. Let me know if that makes a difference.

Yes in the first post I mentioned I uploaded via FTP.

Essentially I updated manually on my local Ubuntu server by copy the new files directly over the old ones (which should work then same as FTP). Then I tested on the local version first as the sites are in in the processes of being created.

Once I confirmed everything was in order I uploaded the pro folder from the development server to the test server via FTP.

The strange thing is that the local server versions of the sites are all working perfectly.

I have now deleted the pro folder from each test site and have manually updated via FTP again and things seem to be working.

Happy it was a simply fix…
