Issues with Content Area Element

Hi All,

I am aware that the old Content Area element is deprecated. I have a site that I need to update several Content Area elements to Raw Content elements and I’m unable to access the Content Area element even though I have it activated and permissions toggled on in Cornerstone Settings.

Please help. I need to modernize this site and can’t if I can’t access the scripts/shortcodes inside of these elements. Thank you.

Best Regards.

Hi. Yes, all classic elements are enabled. I’ve solved this a different way, going into raw code per page, saving each shortcode on a clipboard, then restoring the site from a backup, and replacing each of the Content Area elements (not Classic Raw Content) with a new Raw Content element. Was a pain but it worked.

Hey Chris,

It’s good to know you have successfully replaced them with the Raw Content element already. We really appreciate you for letting us know.

Cheers.
