Issue translating page in Cornerstone after using WPML

Hello,

Our wordpress website is bilingual with French being the main language and English the translated language. We have WPML on our site. When I went to edit a page in cornerstone, this warning popped up. (Warning : edits you’re about to make will be lost. You are about to edit this translation using Cornerstone. Any chnages you make will be lost the next time you send this page for translation)

This brought me to the WPML translation plug in. I have translated 2-3 pages directly into WPML. Now, when I want to see these pages that I translated into English I cannot find them.
When I tried to go back into cornerstone to translate the page properly with the top right language icons, I get a warning.

I cannot create translations for these pages anymore in Cornerstone. But it seems to work with pages that were not edited with the WPML translation app.

How can I properly translate with Cornerstone ?
