Is there something wrong with RAW element?

I have a javascript snippet for a chatbot popup that I have input into a RAW element inside the header of our site. It was working fine for a long time, then recently I noticed the popup no longer is appearing on our site. When I inspect with devtools, I also don’t even see the code in the header at all on the front end.

I have checked with the hosting of the bot and they say all is good on their end.

The issue happened around 3-4 weeks ago when I noticed and suspect it happened around a theme update. This is also happening on all our sites that use PRO.

Any ideas?

Regretfully, the issue is caused by the third-party plugin and custom JS code. We will be interested to investigate and see if anything can be improved in Cornerstone, but please remember that as this is a 3rd party plugin we can’t guarantee any fixes. I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

If none of those work, it would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin-level username and password

It is not a plugin. It is just a code snippet placed into the RAW element inside cornerstone.

Hi @zackfiske,

Instead of adding using the Raw Content element, can you please try to add using Insert Headers and Footers and check if that works or not? If that does not work, then it might be a problem with the code you are adding. If it works, please let us know for further investigation, and please provide login credentials for your staging site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– The custom code that is added in the header or in the plugin

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks for the advice.

I tried the Insert Headers and Footers and the code was not showing up even with that. So it must be the code. I will check with the developers of the chatbot to get it fixed.
