If you want to change the width of your header it will also affect the max-width of your body container because they only had the same option. That option can be found on the X > Theme Options > Layout and Design.

If you want to change the header site width alone, then it will require some customization which is outside the scope of our theme support. If you want to change your header looks, I suggest that you upgrade your X to Pro, where you can access the header builder functionality. To know more about header builder, please check this out.
