Is it possible to edit & preview headers & footers when the Front Page has neither?

I commonly need to edit headers and footers on sites in which the Front Page has no header or footer (common on the multi-language websites I work on).

For years whenever I do this I’ve switched the template for the Front Page to one that has a header or footer. Then when I’m done with my work I switch the page back to a template that doesn’t have a footer or header.

This works but it means the Front page looks bad/confusing for the time that I’m working on the header or footer.

Is there a way to edit & preview headers and footers in the Header/Footer builder without changing the template of the front page?

Thanks for writing in! Since your homepage does not have a header or footer, you can still preview the header or footer by using the Preview Manager.
