iPhone Scrolling requires a tap

Hi there,
I am having issues with my website not scrolling on iPhone.
I’ve seen a resolution in the forum which says to fix the footer height - but I do not have a footer on my page enabled.

I have noticed that on iPhone if you ‘single tap’ on the screen its like it ‘locks’ the screen. A single tap on the page then seems to ‘unlock’ the scrolling and you can scroll. It’s very strange!

I’d be grateful for help in resolving.
The website is www.mumsthewordalbum.com (it’s a single page website - so very simple!)

I should add that this is also happening in Safari -If you scroll down in safari and then try to scroll up, it ‘sticks’.

Hey Michael,

Thanks for writing in! Please have your X theme and Cornerstone plugin updated to the latest version. We now have the following:

  • WordPress 6.5.3
  • X theme 10.4.19
  • Cornerstone 7.4.19

You can check out the latest version here:

Cheers.

Thanks Ruenel. Unfortunately I have updated both X theme and Cornerstone and the issue is still persisting. (Was already on Wordpress 6.5.3)
I’d be grateful for any help with the sticky scrolling issue. Thank you
Michael

Thanks I have managed to resolve.
I was able to go into Wordpress admin: themes: customise menu and add custom css:

Adding the custom css for: body {overflow-y=hidden} immediately resolved the issue.

Hi Michael,

Glad to know that you are able resolve it.

Thanks
