There has been a critical error on this website.

Followed the steps on installing the new theme and when I try a live preview for activation, I get this. Cannot seem to remedy the error.

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the website listed in your Themeco Account and found that the X theme and the Cornerstone both are not installed. If activating the X is creating the problem, then the issue might be related to the WordPress version 6.2 which has already been fixed, and the latest version has been released. I would suggest you go through the following thread and update the Pro as explained in it.

Important WP 6.2 Issue — Please Read Before Updating

We have identified the issue and will be pushing out a hotfix momentarily for X (10.1.10) and Pro (6.1.10). You can update to this version and it will fix the issue. If you are already on WordPress 6.2, remove the X/Pro folder, download a new copy in your dashboard, and then re-upload and change your theme back to X/Pro OR if you wish to manually fix the issue you can add return; to line 194 of framework/legacy/functions/plugins/cornerstone.php

If you are not proficient, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you with this, or you can avail of our newly launched service called TOTAL CARE, where we offer implementation support too.
If that is not the case, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

So I think the problem might actually exist with how the theme was added then, as I have deleted everything out, and I am still getting the EXACT same error.

Now I found the code in the PHP file it keep showing for the error:

And sure enough there is a call to cornerstone at line 42:

Now since I was provided a link to renew the license and all i was provided was the link for the Enavto, I purchased the license from Envato marketplace and then tried to install which forced you to link to a Themeco account. The site no longer has any plugin called cornerstone at all. That was never established as the site states and the old website manager said I should be able to just install using the ZIP file for Wordpress and it work.

Could that be what is broken? Can you fix this further?

I have activated the X theme and the Cornerstone by using the link in the dashboard.

The website is working fine. If you are still facing the same issue, please let us know the page URL where you are having it.
