I just bought Cornerstone and when I try to upload it, Wordpress says that the Plugin installation failed. Can you help?
Hello @askjamieturner,
Thanks for writing to us.
In order to help you with your concerns, we need to check your settings. I would request please share the admin login details meanwhile I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings. Please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details
- WordPress Login URL
- Admin-level username and password
You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts
Thanks
Thanks. I believe I need your email address in order to create a new User login for you. Can you provide that? Or should I just use one of my email addresses? In the meantime, I’ll go in and review the documentation to see if I can figure it out there. Also, I’m using X Theme. Is it possible that I bought Cornerstone and it upgraded me to the Pro version of X and that the Pro version of X is where I’ll find the new Cornerstone?
Hey @askjamieturner,
Sorry for the confusion. Before we log in, I see that only have X theme licenses but you said you bought Cornerstone? Please clarify.
X theme should not be installed in under Plugins because it is a theme. Please install X, the theme, properly first. The instructions can be followed here https://theme.co/docs/installation-and-validation
Thanks.
Yes, I have a license for X and have installed the latest version. But then I went in to buy Cornerstone so that I have the latest version of that to use with X. Now, I can’t get the new version of Cornerstone loaded into my X theme because of what I mentioned above. What should I do?
