Incorrect header displaying

Hello, I need this page: https://revealhm.com/blog-preparing-for-a-trial-hawaii/
To have the header “home + location only”
It is assigned but it is displaying an old header. Please advise. Thank you!

Hey Ashley,

Thanks for reaching out!

Please try changing the priority and let see if it fixes the issue. To know more about priority and conditions, please check this out.

Hope that helps.

I changed the priority to 0 and it is still displaying the wrong header. Not sure if it will take a while to reflect…

Hey Ashley,

I suspect that there’s a cache on your website that’s why the changes didn’t reflect. Please make sure to clear any associated cache on your website.

Hope that helps.

I just cleared the cache on the page and website and the correct header is still not displaying.

Hi Ashley,

I found out that you haven’t included the page “Blog trial Hawaii” in your condition. You should add this condition first in your custom “home + location only” header:

Best Regards.

Hi. I added it and it’s still not working.

Hello Ashley,

Since you have several other custom headers, one of which may have overridden the custom header assigned to the specific pages. To make sure that the assignments will not be overridden, please set the Priority to -1 or -5.

You will need to consider other custom headers as well and set a priority map. This ensures that there will be no custom header that will override the other header assigned to specific pages. For example:

Main header - for the entire site. Priority could be `10`
Archive header - for a category and other archive pages. Priority: `5`

Australia header - for Australia-related pages. Priority: `0`
Europe header. - For Europe-related pages, Priority: `0`

Europe blog header - This is only for the Europe blog page, Priority: `-1`

Hope this helps.

I set the priority to -5 and it is still not displaying.

Hey Ashley,

Have you checked the other custom headers? Maybe this is one header that has a lower priority number that is overriding the supposed header.

By the way, I have checked your domain, and I found this:

You are using CloudFlare. Please log in to your Cloudflare account and purge your site cache. It is also a good idea to turn ON the “Development Mode” while you are troubleshooting the issue.

Best Regards.

I have purged caches on Wordpress, WP, and cloud flare and the header is still not displaying correctly. I also set all of the headers to priority 0, and the home and locations header to -1. I even duplicated the page to create a new page and assigned the headers, and it is still showing an old header.

duplicated new blog: https://revealhm.com/blog-preparing-for-a-trial/

Hey Ashley,

After a careful investigation, I found out that you were using the No Container | No Header, Footer page template for the mentioned pages.

By simply switching to No Container | Header, Footer page template, the custom header assigned for the pages should display.

Best Regards.

ah wow! Thank you so much! Really appreciate it!

Hi Ashley,

Glad that we are able to help you.
