I exported the XML file from their current WP website and then used the WordPress importer to add them. They all show up on the backend, but nothing pulls into the shortcode page with the calendar…
Hi @tkcostello,
Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your site and found that the events are not shown on the selected date, categories, where the screenshot shows that the data is available in those. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Hello @tkcostello,
Please update to the latest version. Our latest versions are:
- Pro theme
4.0.10
- Wp
5.6
- MEC
5.15.0
This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog:
After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
You may also edit your MEC shortcode and make sure that it is valid and correct.
Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you! I have updated PRO, and have the current WP version, but MEC is not allowing the update: https://prnt.sc/wdqsrc
Hey @tkcostello,
To update any extension to the latest version please follow this thread 'X' Theme will not save any updates
Let us know how this goes!
I did the extension update and now have version 5.10.0 but still no events showing…
Hello @tkcostello,
I have edited one of the events and made it a recurring event. It is now displaying an event on my test page. It could be that the imported events need to be updated like time, date, or location before it can be displayed in your custom MEC shortcode.
Kindly check the test page now.
Cool, thank you. That seems to be the issue. Apprecite the help.
