Images not showing on site after update

Hello, I am having issues getting my images to load, they are there in the back end (cornerstone) but not showing front end, if you right click an image and inspect it has the URL but no image.

Hello James,

Thanks for writing in!

I have checked the URL associated with your license code and the images seems to display. This might not be the site that you have the issue. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/docs/getting-support

Regards.

Hey James,

I didn’t login to your site but I could see the images. Please see the screenshot in the Secure Note.

If I’m not looking at the correct images, please give us the URL of the page where the images are not showing.

If I’m looking at the correct images the issue is only in your computer. If you cleared the browser cache as Ruenel suggested, the one causing the issue could be a browser addon. If you have browser addons, please temporarily deactivate all of them. Also, test in other browsers as suggested by Ruenel.

Thanks.

Please see below link to page and you will see the issue https://www.wmdyer.co.uk/data-systems/

I resolved the images on the homepage manually

Hello James,

It looks like your images are still pointing to your dev site:

What you can do it to update all the links that point to your dev site to the actual domain of your site.

To do that, Please install the Better Search Replace plugin then do the following:

search for http://dev.wmdyer.co.uk and replace it with https://www.wmdyer.co.uk and
search for http:\/\/dev.wmdyer.co.uk and replace it with https:\/\/www.wmdyer.co.uk

Hope this helps.
