Image suddenly appears with mouse-over effect

Hi,

Just updated to the latest Pro version, suddenly all the image with borders are appearing with a hover / mouse-over effect. But that was never added, so can’t figure out how to delete this effect? See website here.

I see the option to give a image a link (url etc.) but nowhere hover effect to be found?

Help would be appreciated!

Kind regards
Soejon

I’m really sorry about this happening. It’s because we fixed a bug in the previous version where the box shadow hover color didn’t get applied unless you had the link setting enabled. Unfortunately that fix reveals the problem on sites that didn’t have matching interaction colors. You can fix it by doing this:

  • Inspect each Image, and for each one…
  • Scroll to Box Shadow and click the color picker
  • Click the link icon in the upper right corner to make the interaction color identical to the base color

There’s a bit more info about this in the release notes FAQ: https://theme.co/content/pro4-x8-cornerstone5#faq

Hi @alexander,

Thanks for the solution (it wasn’t shadow but border in these cases)
Since a lot has changed with these releases, we’ll just have to learn and adapt I guess

Sidenote: Wondering when Pro will be compatible with the latest wordpress version 5.6?

Best regards
Soejon

Hi Soejon,

Glad to see it’s working again on your site. The latest version of Pro is compatible with 5.6
