Image Primary - navigation menu

Hello Team Apex,

I’m struggling to find the correct method to add an small custom image behind one of the navigation menu text links. I’ve scoured the forums and tried everything, it would seem the settings are correct but no image is appearing even after cache has been cleared.

Do these setting look correct to add an image to the ORDER TAKEOUT! text?
I was hoping the image could float behind the words and center vertically!

Hello @DeeDesign,

Unfortunately, there is no settings available be default using X theme. It might be possible using custom CSS but that would be outside the scope of our support. The following guide might help you get started:

Your CSS guide for background:

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the example @lely - I will see if I can make it work :slightly_smiling_face:
I wanted to double check - this option is not available in X as you note above, does that mean all of those fields under each navigation item do nothing? Or do they have another function that I don’t understand - can you point me to the documentation about them please. Why does each item have 2 sets of options displayed?

Thank you again.

Hi @DeeDesign

Correct. In X there is no available settings to display those icons. In Pro, those icons can be display displayed beside the menu. Once those icons are provided, navigation element settings can be adjusted on how it looks in relation to the menu links.

To understand it better, you can check GRAPHIC SETUP settings from navigation element.

Hope this helps.
