Icons not displaying correctly

My navigation menu icons are not displaying. I initially added them as tags when using ‘X’ and after searching the forums it seemed to be a problem with needing to enable legacy fonts or upgrade to ‘Pro’ to use the new drop down fields.

I have tried upgrading but the problem persists and I have also noticed that the ‘YouTube’ social icon in the footer is now displaying as &#f431;

Let me know if you need me to provide login credentials to enable you to look into this issue or if you are able to provide a fix.

Many people have the sameproblem, look at this:

Hello @thetravelvisa,

Thanks for asking.

Please take a look at the solution mentioned in following thread and let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Thank you for your patience with this. I just wanted to let you know X 6.2.2 is now available and includes a fix for this problem.

Thanks for the response.

I can confirm the YouTube link is now fixed with the update however I am still not seeing some icons. On my main navigation it is not showing and on the RSS widget they are displaying as empty squares [ ].

I imagine it’s more likely something related to Font Awesome?

Hi @thetravelvisa

I’ve reported this issue to our dev team for further investigation, that’s regarding the footer widget icons, however, I’m not sure which icons exactly should appear in the navigation? that’s how I can see the navigation on your site. (check the link in Secure Note).

Thanks.

Using the ‘Menu’ editor I have assigned an icon using the dropdown tools but these are not displaying - see below:

@thetravelvisa we’ve confirmed that the RSS widget icon doesn’t appear. This has been fixed for the next point release.

Regarding the menu editor, those icons will appear if you use on of the Navigation elements in Pro’s header builder. You’ll have an option to enable the icons while inspecting that element.

Thank you!

Saw that the RSS icon was fixed with the latest point release.

I will have a go at re-creating the navigation using Pro’s header builder. If I don’t update the thread then you can assume everything is hunky-dory!

Sounds good!
