I upgraded to the latest version of pro and now getting an error when trying editing any element in cornerstone

the definition of this element could not be located. you might need to activate a plugin.
the type declared for this element:undefined.

I get this error when trying to select any image or text or other element on any of the pages.
the only change was an upgrade to the latest version of pro.

Thanks for writing in! Did you also update your PHP version or WordPress core? Please check the Cornerstone > Settings > Permissions > Elements and make sure that All Classic elements are enabled because in the latest versions, they are disabled by default. If nothing is helping, we would love to check your site. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site
