How to update Pro Vervion 2.2.2

Hi There,

I am running wordpress 4.9.15.

I am running Pro, version 2.2.2. I would like to upgrade. It looks like the automatic update feature is turned on. But I don’t know how to update it.

I’ve checked the manual, and it says to erase the theme and go install the latest version I download from Themeforest.

Before I do that I have some real concerns. Here are my questions.

  1. Is the new version stable? I run a business and it’s essensial to use a stable version. Which is the most stable version you recommend, and also please provide download link, many thanks.

  2. Is the new version working with wordpress 4.9.15?

  3. Why is it not automatically updating? Is it because of the wordpress version I am using?

  4. If I delete the theme and re-install a newer version, will I loose ANY data? I mean quite literally, will ANY THING change? Where would it change and is there a way to avoid this?

I just found that the stable version is 3.1.2 and found out where to download from. In account/license section.

If you could please answer the remaining question 2-4, it would be much much appreciated.

Is the new version working with WordPress 4.9.15?

We always recommend using the updated version of WordPress. For the Pro theme, we recommend using WordPress 5.5. Here is documentation of version compatiablity of Pro theme.

You will find the update option in Dashboard -> Updates. Here you will find the plugins and theme require an update. Here is our documentation , how to update the theme.
