How to trigger('click') on a classic tab element with latest Pro theme?

I’ve got code based off this to trigger a click on a tab based on a URL:

This works fine Pro 4.1.5, but does not trigger with latest Pro (5.1.6), so have held off upgrading to the latest due to this testing failure.

I notice too page header in latest Pro has “no-js” tag, whereas older Pro had “js”.
A jquery/javascript issue?

Can you provide any updated code so I can trigger a click on a certain tab based on URL string?

Hello @theitsage,

Thanks for writing in! Please use the code on this thread:

If this does not help, you may need to clear all your plugin caches before testing your site again. Perhaps, this article can help:

Thank you for the reply.
Plugins cache has been cleared.
I am using similar code successfully with Pro 4.1.5 theme. It’s just when I update to Pro 5.1.6 it no longer works. Problem is trigger(‘click’) no longer clicks the tab.
May have something to do with latest wordpress versions depreciating jquery?
Can you test and confirm it works on your end?

Hi @theitsage,

Investigating the custom coding and related issues are beyond the scope of theme support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist on this or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks
