Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to trigger a modal via the nav without having to refresh the page to trigger it again (as well as not having the url change here: https://share.zight.com/KouNY0Ql). Let me know if you need further clarification, thank you.
Hello @Developnow,
Thanks for writing to us.
In order to open a Modal through the nav menu items I would suggest you go to the Modal element —>customize —>Toggle Hash —>Enter the custom text.
Now go to the WordPress Dashboard —>Appearance —>menu—>add the custom URL, you need to enter the Toggle Hash text with the hash symbol. Please have a look at the given screenshot.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Hello, thank you for your reply. My issue is that when using the Toggle Hash feature as you described, you cannot trigger the modal without refreshing the page. As well as the url changes, as seen here: https://share.zight.com/KouNY0Ql . Is there a way to avoid both errors?
Hello @Developnow,
If you use the suggested method above, the page should not reload. We would love to check your page if you can send us the URL. There might be a 3rd party that causes the page to reload. There is also an alternative in which you can use any element and insert the Toggleable’s custom attribute to the element.
Best Regards.
Hello, I believe you misunderstand me. What I mean is that you can only open the modal once, without having to refresh the page to open it again. I’ve placed the example in a secure note.
Hi @Developnow,
I have tested the same in my local environment and it worked as explained by my colleague. If that is not working, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Hello, the login credentials are provided below
My apologies, the login is below:
That HTTP Auth didn’t work. However based on your video I believe we already have your issue fixed in Pro 6.4. You shouldn’t have to do anything, but update. Let us know if you still have issues after the update. This release should be going out to automatic updates next week as well. Have a great day!
