How to start a sliders animation only after it has been cycled to

I have a few slides in my slider but all the animations seem to start at the same time so by the time the cycled to the next slide the animation is completed. How do I get it to only start the slides animation when it appears?

It is not very clear what exactly you are trying to do here. If you want that the slider will start once you get into that section, that requires little complex customization which is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called Elite service, where we offer complex customization

Thanks for getting back to me, turns out the problem was it was set to carousel and not slider. Now all is good.
