How to make Posts-Pages look like X-Pro-Pages

Hi there

My Website built with X-Pro looks like this:

For table bookings, I need to create a post, because the plugin can not be used with a shortcode in a normal page, built with X-Pro. So it looks like this:
https://gribimetzgete.ch/sitzplatzreservation-gribi-metzgete-2022

How can I make the post-page looking like a X-Pro page?

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind Regards

Hello Felix,

Thanks for writing in! You can go to Cornerstone > Layout Builder and create a custom single layout. You can then assign this to your posts or table booking posts so that it will be the general layout for all of your table booking posts. If you are not familiar with the Layout Builder yet, kindly check this out:

Hi Ruenel

Thank you very much for your reply and your help. In the meantime, I have realised, that the choosen table booking plugin is not working for me. Do you have any sugestions for a good restaurant table- and seat-booking plugin?

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind Regards,
Felix

Hi Ruenel

Is there any possibility to set the backround image in the Layout-Builder also in advanced mode, like in Pro-pages?
I would like to set the size of a background image to 100% and the position to calc(50%) top.

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind Regards,
Felix

Hello Felix,

Regretfully we do not have anything to recommend. Perhaps this article may help you instead:

Advanced Backgrounds can be enabled in a Section, Row, Column, or even in Div elements. It does not matter if it is the page builder or in the layout builder. You can always insert a background image in the advanced option.

Cheers.

Hi Ruenel

Thank you very much for the link! The first plugin on this page is the one I have installed. It’s probably the best one, I can get.

Regarding the bacground image in Layout Builder, i don’t have any possibility to setup size and position of the backgound image.

This screenshot shows how it works in normal X-Pro-page:

This screenshot shows the panel in the Layout Builder:

Any idea, what i do wrong?

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind Regards,
Felix

Hey Felix,

You’re using a Classic Section. You need to add a new Section (not Classic) and move all elements from the Classic Section to the new Section then delete the Classic Section.

Thanks.
