How to display the page title in the header of every page?

We will be designing a site that will need a large header area (similar to a slider) that displays a background image, a little static text and one dynamic element, the page title. The site will have many pages so we would like to have a single static header where the only difference from page to page is a little text area that displays the title of that page.

Can you please help me to find a resource that will explain how to use one header on all pages but have it dynamically display the title for that page over a background image in that header?

Hello @Boans,

Thanks for writing in!

What you are trying to do will require two custom headers. One header will be displayed for the single page/post while the other one will be used for the archive pages. You need to do that because the “The Title” dynamic content element will only for singular pages and the “Archive Title” dynamic content element works for the archive pages.

Perhaps our Youtube channel can help you:

Best Regards.

I’m so glad this will work, thanks! If you know of a particular video or series that will help me get started with this can you please shoot me a couple links? I’m out of practice lately and I don’t think I’m searching the channel properly

Hello, @Boans,

Regretfully there is no video for this at the moment. But you can check out our documentation

You would get the list of dynamic content codes by clicking the icon as shown in the screenshot above posts by my colleague @ruenel.

Thanks for undersatnding

Got it, thanks!
