I am editing a site where all the headings were coded as plain text with custom font size, font weight, etc. I want to switch to legit heading elements so they result in H1, H2, H3, … being used, but how do I set the default font settings for those headings so that I don’t have to enter custom font settings every time I set up a heading?
Currently you will have to create a text component for your various types and use that in spots where you want to certain formatting. Improving usability is a goal for us and having default components like this is a good idea for us. Does that answer your question? Screenshots might help here. Thanks have a great day!
I tried creating an component named “H1” that is a Headline. I “exported” it and was then able to add it to a page, but afterwards I was unable to change the content of the H1 on the page where it had been added. I need the formatting to be consistent across all uses of H1, but the content needs to be variable. I see there is the concept of a “parameter” that might work, but this seems so complex that I am guessing there must be a better way. It doesn’t see like I can just add custom CSS and have Themeco Pro pick up those customizations.
Based on this page, it seems like maybe I need to access Theme Options, but I can’t find my way to them.
I gotcha, the theme options are now here on the right most tab. Look for the font based ones like in the screenshot. The docs need updating in many areas, but it’s on our agenda. Thanks let us know if you have any questions.
That looks like what I need. Thank you!
