How do I create a layout template?

So, I’m a tad confused.

I have portfolio items, however each individual item can’t select a template as I suspect I have not built it.

So I visited Archive Templates | Themeco Docs which makes sense

But when I see Cornerstone, I can’t create a archive template

Any suggestions?

Hi Jon,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that you have installed the X theme, which does not have the Layout Builder. I have also checked your Themeco Account and found that you have a Pro theme listed, which means you might have upgraded from X to Pro but you are still using the X. I would suggest you download the Pro and install it after deactivating the X and Cornerstone. Please remember that Cornerstone is integrated into Pro, so you don’t need the Cornerstone plugin separately like the X.

Huh,

I didn’t realise that pro was a seperately packaged theme.

That’s now done, but I’m getting “The theme directory “pro” does not exist.” when I try to access cornerstone.

And yes, I had deactivated X and Cornerstone first.

hi @tristup sorry the problem isn’t fixed yet.
the problem is that I get the error “The Theme Directory “pro” does not exist”
And I couldn’t find any info here or in debugging.

Have you installed the Pro by downloading it from your Themeco Account? If not, please do it once and let us know if that works for you.

Yes, that is exactly what I did do.

So after quickly disabling everything for the third time (plugins and themes), then re-enabling it, I finally have everything working, cornerstone is appearing as expected.

Such a weird error.
