For example, each post has an image, the post title, the author, category, a preview, etc. All I want is the image and the post title. Where can I edit this stuff? I tried searching for this but I didn’t know the right words to use.
Hi Collin,
If you are trying to remove the category, tags and other meta information from the posts, that can be done by unchecking the Theme Options > Blog > Post Meta option. Please find the screenshot describing the option.
If that is not the case and you are trying to point out something else, please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.
Thanks
Hi, thanks for pointing out this feature, as that helped a bit. Here’s what it looks like now:
How do I:
-
Include some pieces of meta data but not others? The date, for example.
-
Remove the “read more” text?
-
Remove the excerpt text?
-
Restyle the various elements included in each box?
-
Restyle the margins etc. of each box itself?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Colin,
Thanks for updating in! Regretfully all of those 5 item changes that you want will require custom modifications like adding a custom CSS code and custom development is beyond the scope of our support already. Just don’t be dismayed because, with the latest release of the Pro theme, all of your changes can be achieve so easily without having to add any custom coding. All you have to do is to create your own custom single post layout using the all-new Layout builder in the Pro theme. We recommend that you check out the following documentation and tutorials to get you acquainted with the builder before you can start creating your own layout. Check this out:
Best Regards.
