How can I change colors, button styles, etc on my shop page using WooCommerce?

Hello,

I’m using Integrity Stack and WooCommerce. I’ve got my shop page set up and one product uploaded to see how things look. In short, it’s very unattractive. The button and some of the text are bright red, which doesn’t go with the style of the website, and I can’t change anything about how the page is laid out. I tried changing the stack to each of the other 3, but in no case did it change the style of the product page.

I can’t seem to find any place where I can make the changes I’d like to make. Am I stuck with the colors that WC gives me, or is it possible to make any changes? Are there templates that I could load that would give me a different style? If not, are there any other options for changing style that are accessible to a non-coder?

Thanks,

Sue

Hello again,

I’ve figured out how to change the button and price colors, but I would like to be able to add Elements to the Product page through Cornerstone, and I haven’t found any way to do that. Cornerstone isn’t allowing me to make any changes to what WooCommerce has placed on the page, and I can’t add anything of value either. For instance, I want to add buttons between the Add to Cart button and the Description section for alternate payment options, but I can’t do that.

I’ve tried changing the stack, but the product page appears to be almost exactly the same from one stack to the next. How can I change the layout?

Hey Suzzane,

Regretfully, Cornerstone couldn’t edit the entire Single Product page since it’s currently just a content editor. You’d need to consult with a developer to customize WooCommerce for you for now.

If you’re interested to customize our theme yourself, you first need to be familiar with how it’s built so you need to check out our theme customization article here: https://theme.co/docs/best-practices

Please just note that custom development is outside the scope of our theme support. With that said, we cannot help with any customizations you add to your child theme.

In the future though, editing the Single Product page might be possible so just stay tuned for future product updates.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for your response. It’s not worth paying a developer to customize WooCommerce. I wish I had known this about X Theme before purchasing it; all of the pre-sale info indicated that X Theme was compatible with WooCommerce, but said nothing about the fact that it wasn’t customizable without working with a developer. I might not have bought it to begin with since I can’t use WooCommerce with it the way I need to.

Sue

Hello Sue,

We understand your frustration but the Woocommerce single product template that comes with X is actually based on the standard Woocommerce template. It follows its own template system which is the same in most of the themes that support Woocommerce not unless the theme is specifically made for Woocommerce where you can do advanced customizations.

Hope this explains it.
