Hello! For some reason the content on my homepage is not centered when displayed on mobile.It only happens on my homepage so I guess there might be something wrong with the elements I have on my hp?
Hello Mihai,
Thanks for writing in! Your site is not centered on smaller screens because you have added a 70pixel left padding in the section settings. Please remove the left and right padding in your section so that the content goes back to the center.
If this is not helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings and fix it for you. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/docs/getting-support
Regards.
I fixed the padding issue by deleting the sections and rebuilding, since I rly couldn’t figure out how I added a padding because there was none in the section options.
Now I have a new problem.Looks like the first section of the website is slightly to the left and only centers once I scroll down a bit.
Hello Mihai,
I have logged in and fixed the issue of the first section. It is cause by your Navbar Top Height setting in X > Theme Options > Header > Navbar. I have changed the value from 90 to the actual height of the header which is 148 pixels.
Kindly check your homepage now.
This just happened, but it does look like it solved by itself.
I suppose it’s better to continue with the nooby questions here, no point in making more topics.I know my questions may sound so simple to answer, but with no css knowledge it looks quite complicated for me.
Q1 :
How can I move the logo in the header to the left of the menu, instead of it appearing above the menu?
Q2 :
How do I change those elements?
Hi Mihai,
To answer your question, you must change your Ubermenu dimension to make sure the logo aligned with it. Or, if you added this custom CSS
.ubermenu-responsive-default.ubermenu {
display: block!important;
}
Then please change it into this
.ubermenu-responsive-default.ubermenu {
display: inline-block!important;
}
And to change those icons, you must add custom CSS as well, for example, this is the CSS for standard post type
.format-standard .entry-title:before {
content: "\f15c";
}
You’ll have to change f15c with the icon that you can find here https://fontawesome.com/icons/, example f2b9
And there are gallery post type, video post type, and so on. So you may need multiple custom CSS. You can use browser inspector to find those post type format, they are usually prefixed with format-
Please check this for more information about browser inspector https://www.templatemonster.com/help/use-google-chrome-web-inspector.html
Thanks!
Thank you very much for your assistance! You may close this post now.
