Hello! I’m trying to figure out a way to hide posts that are attributed to specific users. We recently moved several hundred blog posts over from another non-wordpress site, and the authors did not carry over. They’re all showing as posted by the site admin. As we go through the posts to re-assign to the correct authorship, it’d be great to show authors in the meta line with the condition that they are NOT posted by the site admin. Is there a way to do this? I don’t see the option in the conditions panel when setting up the post layout.
Hey @vdonahue,
Thanks for reaching out!
You must create an account with a user role as Author. The Author user role can only see their own posts in the backend and then assign each post to the specific author.
Hope that helps.
