Hey team... quick question

I’m introducing membership to our site: http://www.brooklyndancesportclub.com/

I want to hide some of the videos and livestreaming content on the site… and I need to be able to wrap a short-code around them. The shortcode looks like this:

[membership level="1"]Will only show up for level 1 users.[/membership]

How do I wrap that around individual elements… such as videos… photos… livestream embeds… etc.

Thank you as always!

Cheers,
-Daniel

Hello Daniel,

Please build the content as GLOBAL BLOCK. Once done, get the global block shortcode and then put it inside the merbership shortcode. You can then add it on the content where it is needed.

Hope this helps.

I tried doing that… I created a global block… and then took the shortcode and put it inside the membership short code… within a “content area” element… like this:

[membership level=“1”][cs_gb id=8571][/membership]

Didn’t seem to work at all… nothing is showing up.

This is the page i’m working on: http://www.brooklyndancesportclub.com/video-classes

Also… to build on this… lets say we want to build a video library here of different videos by different instructors here… and want to give clients the ability to search by instructor… or video name…

How would this then work with global blocks?

Even if we get global blocks to work… seems more like a quick fix than a long term solution.

Is there another way?

I’m also going to attach a secure note - so you can log-in and take a look

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately, that is not going to work inside the Cornerstone (more details here), you might need to work with the default Wordpress editor for that specific page.

Thanks,
