Hero across the full width page

Hello,

I want to create our Hero picture/video stretch full width from side to side but keep the content underneath it the same. What do I have to do in my settings of the sections or row to do this? Also to keep it responsive too.
I would like to continue to use Cornerstone for this. The stack is Renew. I posted my settings in the 2nd picture.

Thank you in advance,
Ivee

Hi Ivee,

Unfortunately, I could not access your website for some reason. Would you please kindly double-check? And also, make sure that there is no Firewall on your hosting service as it might have country IP restrictions and we are from various parts of the world.

I think the correct course of action is to set the Page Template to Blank - No Container | Header, Footer so you will have no container on the page and also have access to header and footer. Kindly click here for more information on how to set the Page Templates.

Then please use Cornerstone to add sections. Whenever you add a section, please go to the Row settings and turn off the Global Container option:

So, whenever you want to have a full-width section, turn the option off. FOr the other sections that need the Global Container kindly keep the option turned on.

Here is an overview of layout creation using Cornerstone, and here is detailed information about Rows.

Thank you.

@christopher Thank you very much! That definitely helped a whole bunch and now I understand some more things on how and why some heros work.

I’m concern though about accessibility. maybe https://kerkoc.com works? or through Google? This is new information for us. I definitely do not know how to configure the firewalls of our host, but I can call support and ask. Is it possible to know where you’re trying to access from to I can give more info to the support?

Thank you again.

Hey @marketing0161,

I checked your site and it is accessible on my end. We’re a team located in different parts of the world so giving you a specific location might not help. You can simply ask your host if there is any IP restriction or active firewall that prevents certain users to view your site.

Your site could be temporarily down when it was checked but now it’s working fine. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much @nabeel. I will ask my hosting service about certain restrictions. Thank You!

You’re welcome, Ivee.
