Help with some basics in Cornerstone

Hello. I"m having an issue with Cornerstone.

I created a header and assigned a menu to the navigation there to get that pages on I want in it, but I can’t figure out how to style the navigation items in terms of font, text-transform, and colors.

When I search the docs there’s much mention of the Theme Options. I’m familiar with those settings panels from past projects using X, but on this site, I can’t find those settings. I’m using Pro this time.

I also can’t figure out how to style the buttons across the site. When I insert a button element, it doesn’t look like the buttons that came with the template, nor do the inserted buttons follow the styles defined in the “Globals” settings in the top right corner of Cornerstone.

I’m sure I’m just missing one or two things about how theme and global styles work, and expect it to be simple once I figure it out, but I sure haven’t been able to do that so far.

PS - Another issue iv’e had is how to style the headlines that are overlayed on the “banner images” I’ve inserted on each page. Right now I’m styling those with custom CSS on each element, but I’d like to know how do it the “right” way so that the settings are reflected across the site.

The site is at https://caseyh42.sg-host.com/.

Hello @Hancock,

Thanks for writing to us.

In order to set the navigation menu item color/font/size etc, I would suggest you, please go to the Navigation Inline element —>Top link—>Primary—>Format —>Set it from here.

For the buttons, please note if you insert the button element then you need to style it through the button element style. Theme Option button styling is only applicable to default buttons like “Read More” or “Add to Cart” etc.

In case you want to style the Headline element text, you can set it from the Headline element settings. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Hope it helps
Thanks
