Help: License Won't Validate

Hi, I’ve just purchased a new license and the purchase code has been input into my account correctly, but my site won’t validate. How can I correct this?

Hello @addabble,

Thanks for posting in! I have checked your Themeco account and it appears that you have two licenses.

See the secure note below for the license and their site assignment.

Meanwhile, kindly review this documentation regarding our product validation:

Thank you for the info, but I have followed all documented steps and it’s still not validating. I’ll send a secure note so you can verify.

Hello @addabble,

It is not validating because you need to install and activate Cornerstone plugin first.

Anyways, I went ahead and made the necessary changes. Your X theme is now validated.

Kindly check your site.

Thank you for your help

You are most welcome @addabble!

Hi, I am having the same issue. I have licences for Pro and Cornerstone. They are both working on my WP site and dashboard - but I still have the error message that my X licence is not validated. When I use the ‘fix’ link, I get another error massage that my licence is already used on a different site. (I have already been through all the steps advised in the product-validation docs)

Any suggestions please?

Hello @bconradwilliams,

Thanks for updating this thread. I have check your your Themeco account and I found out that you have assigned your licenses to https://example-com-au. You will have to assign those licenses to the same URL you have in Settings > General > Site URL.

Best Regards.

Thank you @ruenel. I’m not sure I understand. When I log in to my Themco account, the licences both show my website (https://easyteams-com-au) as the Location.

What ‘Settings’ do you mean please? On my Wordpress dashboard? Or my Themco account?

Hello Bruce,

Please assign your license to your actual domain names. You should be using https://www.easyteams.com.au/ because this is what is in your WordPress > Settings > General > Site URL.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your patience @ruenel. You are correct - I had the wrong URL syntax.

I have corrected as you suggested and validation has now been successful.

Thank you for your kind assistance.

You are most welcome.
Glad we were able to help you Bruce.
