Headline text content flexbox

Hi,

I could’t figure out how to use the “text content flexbox” features in a headline element. I went through the docs - https://theme.co/docs/headline#headline-design-settings - , but I couldn’t understand what is meant by “children”. Apparently it is not subheadline or graphic.

I actually want to span/separate certain text inside a headline element .I tried using <span>text</span> , however it is not working. If you go to Design Cloud and open the “Split Menu” content , you will see that <span>text</span> is separating the prices from the menu items. When I upload the Split menu template and paste the same headline element inside a new blank cell, it unfortunately is not spanning the text.

Is there an easy way?

Thanks.

Hey Gunes,

The text wrapped in span is not using flex. It’s powered by the Float property in the Split Menu’s Section Element CSS.

Notice in the following screenshots that without the float, the price will move back to the left.

Please post the URL of the page where you’ve added the Headline element so we could check the setup and so we can advise you on what to do.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,
Thanks for the response.
