Headline and Text are not working on my new website

MY PROBLEM

1. I just launched a new website. I used the Design Cloud to load a complete Site. On the site there is some Headlines. However, if I add another Headline or Text Element it isn’t formatted in the same way that the already existing Text and Headline Elements are. Also, I cannot format these Elements. I used to run X-Theme websites without any problems, but cannot find the solution to this one. I just started adding content, so didn’t change any settings prior to this problem.

2. When editing posts, headlines do have a distinct format, but it is different from the headlines on a page and I would like for it to be the same.

Thanks for writing in! The site demos in the Design Cloud use the v2 headline and text elements that has been customized to suit the site demo designs. If ever you edit the headline or text element, it will have the styling of the demo. On the other hand, if you insert a new headline or text element, it will now have its own default styling. What you can do is to save the styling to the headline or text element as a Preset and then you can apply it to the newly inserted headline or text elements. And you may also utilize it as a Preset element. To know more about how you can save and apply a Preset to the element or as the Preset element, kindly check out this video tutorial:

Thanks for your reply. I understand the latter part (save styling).
However, I don’t understand the former:

1. How can I add body text or headline in the style of the demo?
2. How do I access the v2 headline and text?
3. Where can I change headline and text styling globally and locally (as per case)?

MY PROBLEMS

1. If I add text or a headline it is very small and not in the style of the demo.
2. I cannot change the font weight (300; 400) – neither globally, nor locally? How does that work?

I found the font manager, but it doesn’t lead to any answers.

Let me explain you further on your queries:

1. How can I add body text or headline in the style of the demo?
   Answer: Do you want to add this as a preset styling, if so please go through this article, https://theme.co/docs/template-manager#how-to-save-the-templates especially the Element Presets section.

2. How do I access the V2 headline and text?
   Answer: If you are trying to access the Preset V2 Headline and Text element styles, you can have the option to Apply Preset.

3. Where can I change headline and text styling globally and locally (as per case)?
   Answer: You need to change the style locally and then need save as preset to use that globally and that is explained in answer 1.
