Headers: collapse vertical bar (mobile)

Hello,

I very much like Pro and how you can create really cool headers.

For the mobile version of my site, I want to add a very rich vertical bar behind a hamburger, like http://www.sparkoptimus.com.

I can add a Navigation Collapse, but that only shows the menu and does not solve my need for social links, search bar, etc. Can I somehow create a vertical bar that hides and add a collapse hamburger?

Thanks, Paul

Hi @paulvanderheijden,

Thanks for reaching out.

I tried and it’s not possible, though I can hide the sidebar(header bar) but the effect is a bit glitchy since it’s not made for that. For this, I recommend using SuperFly menu just for mobile. It has social options that you could use, you can go to Admin > SuperFly Menu > Menu Panel > Social and just add your social URLs (I tried it and it works).

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply - I will try that.

By the way, I am unable to install superfly. Error encountered. The package could not be installed.

Hi Paul,

If you have a child theme, could you please try switching to your parent X theme and try installing the extension again.

Also make sure that the PHP cURL extension is functioning properly on your server. Also check (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-validation-connection-issues/201).

Hope that helps.

That does not do the trick. By the way, I can install other extensions, just not Superfly.

Hey There,

Superfly is a bundled plugin with the theme. Please make sure that you have validated the theme to be able to connect to the Themeco plugin repository. “Error encountered. The package could not be installed” could simply mean that you cannot connect to the plugin repository. If you have already validated the theme, please revoke and re validate it. You may have re assign the license code to another domain which may have caused the issue.

To revalidate the theme, please check out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-product-validation/55

Hope this helps.
