Header template import missing all content

Hi, perhaps I’m missing something. I’ve created a header on one site. It has headlines, buttons, images etc. When I save, then export it in order to bring it into a second site all the content is missing. Is that how it’s supposed to work?

I’ve grown accustomed to working presets where I have the option of including content.

Anyway, as it is currently the template is not saving me much work. Layout is preserved, but I have to edit every element to restore what I’d hoped would be in the template.

I may have resolved this, at least for text items, including text within buttons. Those elements were using colors from the color palette. Since the second site did not have the same palette saved those text items were rendered transparent, therefor seeming to be absent initially.
