I am trying to edit the Text and pictures in the News Page in Cornerstone but it is blank.

Thanks for writing in! The News page is assigned as your blog index. Be advised that when a page is assigned as your blog index or Posts Page in Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays, it becomes uneditable because WordPress will dynamically generate content to the page in displaying the post items. This is the default behavior of any page assigned as the blog index. You cannot edit it using Cornerstone or even the default WordPress editor. Please check out this codex:
At the moment, the X theme does not offer any feature that you can edit the blog index. It is only available in the upcoming release of the Pro theme which will be rolling out in the next few weeks. You can check out more about the Layout builder here:

For that reason, None of them can be edit?

Hey Alejandro,
You are referring to the Classic Recent Posts element on the homepage. At the moment, it is displaying portfolio items. Please edit your homepage and then click the recent posts element. You will need to change the Post Type to “Entradas” so that you can edit the post entries in Cornerstone.
Just so you know, by default, only pages are allowed to be edited by Cornerstone. You can change this setting by enabling the permission in X > Settings > Permissions > General.

I am trying to edit Classic Recent Posts element on the homepage and I have set all like you told me but I cannot find the picture and text option to change them.

You can try by using the Recent Post shortcode, please use the Raw Content element to show the shortcode, you can get more information on the recent post shortcode here: https://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/recent-posts/
If you still want to use the Classic Recent Post element and you need us to investigate it, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Hi Alejandro,
The Classic Post Recent element is showing the posts only, and you can edit the text and the picture by editing the respective posts from wp-admin.
To add the image, please add the Featured Image to the posts. Please find the screenshot describing the setting to add the featured image to the post.

If you are referring to a blog featured image, you can’t add an external link to it.
