Using the Form Integration element in the Pro footer builder footer. Click submit just jumps to the top of the page without submitting the form. Scroll down and click submit second time jumps to the top of the page again, but if I scroll down to the footer I see the confirmation message. What am I doing wrong?
The form works fine outside of the footer, so it’s not an issue with the form.
When I activated my Pro child theme it stopped jumping to the top of the page, but it still takes two clicks to submit the form.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins except for Gravity Forms, no difference.
I’ve tried removing all custom functions in my child theme functions file, it jumps to the top of page again and still requires scrolling and two clicks on the submit button.
I don’t have any custom Javascript running anywhere.
It doesn’t matter if the form is inserted as a shortcode with ajax=“true”, a component (used to be global block), or the form integration element with the ajax toggle turned on. Nothing fixes this issue.
Am I the only one with this issue?
@designerkev, this has been noted and will be looked into along with another potential GF AJAX issue that is being reported.
FIXED:
Please disregard this one. I realized I had kept a second copy of the same form in a hidden bar in the footer builder. As soon as I deleted that hidden form the remaining form started working correctly.
Sorry for the confusion.
No worries, and thanks for letting us know!
