Global buttons settings not displaying

Hi there,

I am using the PRO theme and I have setup specific settings for the buttons in the Theme Options as shown below:

However, every time I add a Button Element to a page via Cornerstone, the button displays as shown below, instead of using the global settings.

In older versions there was an option for adding Classic Button Element that would display the global button settings but I don’t see that option anymore, so wondering how to display the button with its global settings.
Can you please tell me why this might be happening?

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that the Global Button settings only apply to the default buttons when using any of the default page/post templates or with the Classic Button elements. This setting will not be applied to the new Button element. The new Button element has its own styling which allows you to control styles. If you want to have a custom button style, it is best that you create a Button component. You can then reuse this component when creating new pages. If you are not familiar with the Components yet, please check out this article:

Thank you for your response! I will explore the component builder to create custom buttons but I have couple of additional questions about the Classic Button elements and the default templates. I am using Pro Version 6.2.1 and there is no option to add Classic Button element there. Has that been discontinued in the newest versions?

Also, when you are talking about default page/post templates, what are you referring to? The only templates I see are the ones shown below:

Hello @muckashi,

The Classic elements were disabled by default. It is still supported by the theme though. You can enable them back by going to Cornerstone > Settings > Permissions > Administrator > Elements.

Once it is enabled, when you add an element, you should see all the classic elements:

As for the templates, most of the Sections template uses the new elements. If you go to Cornerstone (+) > Themeco > Sites, most of the site demo templates will be using the Global Style settings.
