Whenever I try to add a product to cart using “add to cart” button on my woocommerce shop it is unsuccessful and instead on account page has the notification “Please choose product options by visiting…”.
I tried deactivating all of my plugins and it did not fix the problem but when i deactivated my PRO theme and used a wordpress theme the problem went away leading me to believe that there is a conflict with the theme itself.

Thanks for posting in. This usually happen when you are trying to add a variable product to your cart. You need to select one of the product options before doing so. If your product does not have any variation, you may need to change the product type to “Simple”. Kindly check out this doc:

Changing the product to a simple product did not fix the issue.

The password or username seems incorrect. It does not work for us. In the meantime, I was able to add a product to the cart. The problem I encountered is that youor cart page is not showing because of some errors in the console.
I would suggest that you temporarily disable your cache and optimizer plugins before testing the site again.

Sorry about that! I updated the password to the correct one. I tried disabling those plugins and the problem persists. I can see the cart on my end after I attempt to add something to it, it just says that its empty.

There must be missing in your custom layout. You should be using the “Add to Cart Form” element in the Woo Single product layout.

Again i apologize, I just checked and it was the email that was incorrect so i have updated it to the correct email in the note this time.
As for the Select options button, It only appears like that when I have added in the “related products” options in the cornerstone builder and does not give me the option to change the button to “add to cart” it just takes people to the main product page. But the problem still persists that from the main product page I am unable to add products to the cart at this time

I have checked and found that all the products on your website are variable products, to add to the cart you need to choose the variation available for the specific product. That is, the Add to Cart Button redirects it to the product details page.
In the product details page Layout you are using the Add to Cart Button element, instead of that please use the Add to Cart Form element to choose the variation and add the product to the cart.
I temporarily added the element and was able to add the product into the cart after choosing the variation.
Please remember to use the Add to Cart Form element in the Single WooCommerce layout to choose quantities for simple products and variation and quantities for variable products.
