Full Width Navbar with Boxed Layout, Renew Stack

I’m using Renew stack and I want to have a full width navbar while using the Boxed layout for page content. I’ve been struggling for days to get control of the navbar area. I tried the other solution posted on the forum but it doesn’t work for tablet size displays. It shows white bars when you scale the page down to tablet sizes. I would like for the navbar to go full width just like the full width site does with no errors. Currently it’s showing the default background color.

Sorry my site I’m developing is private right now and I can’t make it public. I haven’t done any theme changes I’m just using the regular Renew stack at 1250px width and 90 site width.

Hey @jonno_norton,

Regretfully, there’s no option to make the header fullwidth while the rest of the site is boxed. That would require theme modification and that is beyond the scope of our theme support.

I’d recommend that you use Fullwidth Site Layout instead and kindly wait for the Layout Builder that will allow you to design archive and single pages so what you need for this case can be achieved in the future.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I spent way too long trying to make it happen manually. I’m very advanced in HTML and CSS and I really couldn’t get it to work. I even tried enabling the full width and then just copying the CSS from it and it wouldn’t play nicely. Your team has a really advanced theme here! Anyway no worries it’s probably best you just tell me up front it can’t be done so I can move on. I will miss out on some of my boxed elements but I can just design around them. The navbar looks so much better this way that it’s just not going to work with the boxed navbar.
