Footer container border color displays as grey in the preview – Beta 7&8

Repro:

  1. Open up a footer
  2. Add a container
  3. Turn on border controls
  4. Set the border to un-linked
  5. Leave one of the options set to “transparent” color
  6. Set one of the other borders to a specific Global Color & width (it seems easiest to reproduce this when using global colors)

Observed:
The borders will show a grey color in the preview window, even if they display properly on the front end.

In the attached video, you can see me change settings on the border colors, and that they don’t display properly in the preview. However, launching the live site shows them correctly.

Thanks! Tracking with you there. We do some optimizations to try avoiding CSS output that is identical to the default styling, but looks like things are getting jumbled up when Global Colors are involved (because we don’t know the final value yet).
