Fonts duplicate in Templates -> Fonts

Hello,

Just to let you know, I created a Default font entry in Templates -> Fonts (only one entry). For some reason, when I go back to the page, I now have four entries with the same name “Default”. Also, the associated font (Montserrat in my case) is now reverted for all entries to Helvetica. I am pretty sure duplicating entry is not expected, even more that it does revert back to another font than the one I originally selected…

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! You might be using an older version of the theme. Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 1.2.3
  • X theme 5.2.2
  • Cornerstone 2.1.3

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

I’m using the most up-to-date version and having this same issue. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/40191t352007

Hi William,

If you have followed the recommendations given above by Rue and it did not work, please open a new thread explain your situation briefly and provide your wp-admin credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

You could also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes!

Cheers

Same here. Font sets keep duplicating shortly after i delete the duplicates. Then i get an error message when i select one: >Uh oh! Two fonts selections can not share the same name.< i am on the latest pro. thanks. kai

Yes I’ve cleared all caches and using the most recent version of the Pro theme. Still keeps happening. I’ll send login info so you can look

Same issue.

Hi guys,

I deleted the credentials provided in a secure note, you must only provide them in your own thread for security reason. So please create a new thread.

@cobbman, I can confirm duplicate font template entries, I deleted the duplicates and saved it. Could you test it again? I’ll add this to our issue tracker.

Thanks!

Same issue here. I’ve just installed a fresh version of X, template fonts are duplicated, and the website doesn’t show the correct one, but the native one.

hi @Rad, so you confirm this as a bug and you work on it? thanks, kai

Hi there,

The final confirmation of the bug will be done by our development team, but as the support staff we already reported the case to our development team:

So either we will get an explanation from our development team which we will share with you guys here, or have it confirmed as a bug which will be fixed in upcoming releases.

Thank you.

Hi there,

We’re not sure about the ETA yet, but for the meantime, you may delete the duplicates all at once and save it.

Thanks.

I’m still having this issue with the most recent releases. Can you give an update on this bug getting fixed? Thanks!

Hi there @CraigAllanTeich,

We don’t currently have an ETA, but the issue is in our issue tracker for the developers to fix in an upcoming release.

Thanks!
