Followup update to 6.6.6 Cornerstone refuses to save changes "not a valid json response"

As the title says.

I have tested for plugin conflicts, max upload / max filesize etc. (as per this thread). Have also tried disabling plugins, clearing varnish and other caches etc.

I keep getting “not a valid json response”.

Hello @TristanP,

Thanks for writing to us.

Thanks for testing the plugin conflicts. It would be best if you could copy your live site to the staging server and share the admin login of the staging server so we can check it on our end without breaking your live site. Please have a look at this article to learn more about how to move the live site to the staging server. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

Please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Hi @prakash_s

Dev tools showed a persistent 503 error on wp-json/cornerstone/data/save

Cloudways support was able to resolve this by changing the following settings. image

This resolved the issue.

Thanks!

Hi Tristan,

Glad to know that problem is resolved now.
