Featured Post as Condition in Looper Consumer Object

Hello dear Themeco Team,

I am using the Posts Looper Feature in the Pro Theme.

I want to display the last 10 Posts sorted by date but I’d like to highlight the Featured Posts like it is possible with the Ethos Theme.

is there a way to set a Condition for an Featured Post in the Looper Consumer Object e.g. an image.

Hello Max,

Thanks for writing in!

You can change your Looper Provider Recent Posts to Looper Provider Query Builder and order it by Date just like the image below.

Depending on your design, you can then use the element condition to know whether the post is a featured post or not. You can check out the Conditions and Assignments documentation here for more details:

thanks very much for your reply. Unfortunately I cannot get it to work:

I added this into the first conditions field: _x_ethos_index_featured_post_layout
Shouldn´t this display only the featured posts?

Would you mind sending me your string?
