Feature request: toggle for viewport-fit per site or globally

Would be awesome if there was a setting for the viewport-fit. On devices with notches like the iPhone 12 for example, headers or sections are cut off on the left and right to prevent content from being hidden behind the notch. This can be very unpleasant in some situations.

A simple toggle for the viewport-fit value – per site or globally – would make life so much easier!
I made a quick mockup of what this could look like inside of the page settings tab:

Great idea here. Adding it to our backlog so we can see how it could fit into future development. Not sure how it would be implemented yet. Depending on the context, you might want that spacing to come from margin or padding (like if you want to retain a background color) so we might need to make it something at an element level. I was taking a quick look around and apple stopped recommending viewport-fit so we’ll need to try one of the other options.
